CONTRACTING WITH US
We typically use the following process for working with our clients:
Receive an inquiry.
Listen to your needs.
Describe our applicable services.
Meet with the association president, liaison and/or full board to identify their issues, concerns, needs and desires.
Review basic association documents and basic information.
Prepare a comprehensive written proposal to describe each recommended task, schedule and cost of services offered. We usually also offer several optional additional tasks that our clients regularly request to facilitate adding them if and when the board wants.
Prepare a written Consulting Agreement incorporating the agreed upon work scope.
Secure a mutual commitment with a retainer.
We routinely preface our work with the following to help assure we understand and meet all common expectations:
Review the enabling documents, rules, guidelines, standards, meeting minutes, contracts, etc. to understand the current requirements and constraints.
Learn about the facilities, amenities and activities of the association to be able to put everything into perspective.
Talk privately with each director and major player to understand their personal interests, goals, issues, concerns, and suggestions.
Facilitate an online Leadership Evaluation to quantitatively compare the community to other associations of similar size and makeup, and report the findings.
